Dublin, OH, February 29, 2016 – IGS, parent company of Dublin, Ohio energy supplier IGS Energy, announced that their first-ever All-Employee Day of Service will be held on March 10, 2016. Across all of their offices throughout six states, IGS employees are giving back through a day of volunteer service. Over 35 organizations will be supported by more than 650 IGS employees on March 10.

Scott White, IGS’ president and CEO said, “Nearly 100% of our employees expressed the opinion that company-led volunteer projects enhance their experience as an employee – that’s a truly an amazing statistic that we felt we could support and build upon. This day stems from our corporate belief that when employees dedicate their time to community service, they are happier, more fulfilled people and ultimately happier, more fulfilled employees.”

IGS launched their community investment program, IGS Impact, in 2015 to formalize their ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the world. Through IGS Impact, employees can take advantage of a variety of programs, such as volunteer time off, matching gifts, a dollars for doers program and workplace giving opportunities. Additionally, an organization-wide goal has been established to reach 10,000 volunteer hours and $1 million donated through the IGS Foundation.
