IGS Energy Gives Back to Jackson High School

October 12, 2015

On Friday, October 16th, Home Energy Consultants (HECs) from IGS Energy were in attendance as the Jackson Polar Bears took on Green High School in a primetime Friday night football matchup.

IGS Energy supported the home team by passing out personalized foam fingers to Polar Bears fans at the game. Magnets with the team’s football schedule were also available at the IGS Energy tent located near the stadium’s entrance.

The support culminated in an on-site check presentation for $2,000, which Jackson will use for funding at their school. Jackson High School (OH) is one of 46 high schools across Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas that the HECs will be visiting this year. In addition to 22 high school football games throughout the fall, IGS Energy will support the remaining schools with check presentations at their winter basketball games. In total, the energy supplier will donate $92,000 this year to schools in the markets that they serve.
