IGS Solar Helps New Hampshire's Proctor Academy Generate Clean Energy
Dublin, OH, January 5, 2016 – IGS Solar, LLC, a turn-key commercial and residential solar provider, recently partnered with ReVision Energy, a full-service solar energy contracting company based in New England, to install a series of five solar arrays on Proctor Academy’s campus in Andover, New Hampshire. The co-educational boarding school serves students in grades 9 through 12.
IGS Solar financed, owns, and operates the five systems. The most recent project is a 107-kilowatt ground mounted array at the Proctor Ski Area. All of the projects were installed by ReVision Energy at no upfront cost to Proctor Academy through a series of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The idea to power these areas with solar energy initially came from Proctor Academy’s student environmental action group. Encouraging sustainability is an important initiative for the school.
